SAFIYAH
Safiyah birth given name is Danya Elliston born on April 15, 1997 she is popularly know as the Magnum queen of dancehall for the year of 2018 .Safiyah entered the renowned Magnum kings and queens of Dancehall Competition/show in Jamaica and at the finals she came out the victor and was introduced to the Jamaican Audience as the reigning magnum queen of dancehall.
Safiyah is a 23 year ar old Dancehall recording artiste and songwriter on the rise .Safiyah is also the first born of a pair of twin with her identical sister, she was raised between Duhaney Park in Kingston Jamaica and in the parish of St. Catherine.She attended the George Headily Primary school, and went to the G.C Foster College.
From an early age Danya had a love for performing an as always been active in the performing arts field at the JCDC festival and her High school
Her style of music is very sweet yet lyrical, Catchy, hardcore with a little Raunchiness that fits her melodious voice if you should describe her musical sound.
Safiyah as been keeping her self busy releasing several hardcore , charismatic singles and currently working on a 6 track EP (extended playlist )called TEMPERATURE which will be available for preorder july , 2020 with set released date JULY 20th, 2020 she has also been on Stage doing appearances across the island, as she receives bookings to head line shows across Jamaica, some of the shows are as follow:

The popular TV series magnum kings and of dance hall crowned Safiyah as their final queen, as the competition as came to its closure after its 11th season .
Safiyah is currently working on multiple projects with multiple established labels in dancehall like jones Ave records and alot more . Safiyah is an independent artist not signed to any label but also has her own upcoming label SAFIYAH MUSIC in the making . Safiyah plans on making big moves in the Dancehall music industry with her first big collaboration with veteran artist I-Octane and others in the coming months and also planning to change the game with her style and charisma.
